The Sunlit Sanctuary
"A private residential villa designed around the physics and poetry of daylight."
Located in the heart of Dubai Hills, The Sunlit Sanctuary is a study in monumental simplicity. The building geometry was shaped using solar path simulations to ensure the interior spaces receive soft, indirect north light throughout the day, while deep structural overhangs protect the home from the harsh midday sun.
The craftsmanship relies on raw travertine blocks sliced into thin sheets, hand-aligned to ensure seamless vein continuity across a 12-meter high central hall. The contracting was managed in-house, achieving structural tolerances of less than 3mm on all custom brass door trims.
To create an indoor environment that feels like a natural extension of the sky, balancing temperature and glare with limestone louvers and double-height light wells.
Light is not merely an aesthetic choice; it is the fundamental raw material of human well-being and architectural space.

Execution Standards
01 / Architecture Curation
Designing spatial layout geometry aligned with direct solar path diagrams to enhance visual health and maximize natural daylit volume.
02 / Material Honesty
Selecting stones directly from verified quarry blocks, inspecting vein patterns and porosity to ensure structural longevity and prestige.
03 / Bespoke Fit-Out
Execution via our in-house contracting team, managing millwork, stone laying, and engineering tolerances to the millimeter.
